So when Snow Leopard promised built in Exchange support for it’s Mail app, I was overjoyed. I loathe using Entourage for work and Mail for my other accounts. With Snow Leopard installed I noticed that I could not set up my work email in Mail. Turns out, you need to have Exchange 2007, NOT Exchange 2003 like we have here at work.
I thought that I would have to live with this, but there is hope. The solution is to use IMAP. There are two things you need to know when setting this up. Whether or not your IT manager has IMAP enabled and what that address is, both of these questions you can get from him or her.
Add account like you would any other way, File > Add Acount. Put in your username etc. Select IMAP from the dropdown (not Exchange IMAP), description can be whatever, Incoming Mail Server would be whatever your IT person has supplied you with (mine was servername.domain.com).
That’s it. It should sync your files and folders from your Entourage. I know this all seems stupidly simple, but I have been trying to get away from using Entourage for awhile.
Note: this only works if IMAP has been enabled on your server
p.s. If I am the last person to know about this then I hope you all get indigestion today from lunch.
Mostly it will be design/coding stuff. Will also have my portfolio and a whatever personal projects I am working on. Right now all it is is a blog but in the future, the focus won’t necessarily be on that.

Site’s looking good. When it fully comes in to fruition, what kind of content will it contain?
